Enterprise Storage and Backup Refresh

The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Requests for Tender to supply and install a new enterprise storage and backup solution in accordance with this request.

Project Overview

The enterprise storage and backup refresh project (Project) will replace the City's soon out-of-support storage and backup hardware. The Project aims to replace the on-premise Dell Isilon storage, Dell Avamar backup appliance, and Dell Data Domain appliances with the latest generation hardware whilst retaining the current architecture and product line.

Objective of this Request for Tender

Tenderers are invited to bid for the scope as specified in Part B - Specification.

The City proposes to enter into an agreement to procure the specified hardware, software and implementation services, including 5 years of product support and licensing.

Tenderers may optionally include an offer to buy-back the existing enterprise storage and backup hardware.

Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this request for tender.

NOTE:

- any contract departures need to be submitted to the Procurement Representative as soon as possible but at least 5 working days before the RFT closing date and time.
