Tender Description

ouncil is seeking expressions of interest from NDIS providers to evidence that there are alternative providers who have capacity to support existing Council participants, and to provide information and options for participants to consider.

Following completion of a review of its Community Care services, Council is proposing to cease providing disability services by 31 October 2025. Final decision to be made on 27 May 2025 pending confirmation that other providers have capacity to provide services to Council’s participants.

A key finding of the review was that while Council provides a valued service to the Eurobodalla community, it is no longer best placed to provide these services to the community in the long-term.

The intent of this expression of interest process is to ensure that the private market has the capacity to take on Council’s NDIS participants, should Council withdraw from providing these services.

The services

As of 28 March 2025, Council has 70 unique NDIS participants as follows:

  • Supported accommodation (SIL/SDA/DSOA): 11
  • Community supports: 42
  • Support coordination: 43
  • Plan management: 61

The distribution of participants by postcode is 2536, 2537, 2545, 2546, 2171.

Staffing

Council has a team of 59 directly associated with the delivery of services to NDIS participants. These roles include coordinators, administration, finance, rostering, team leaders, direct support workers, support coordinators, support facilitators and plan manager.
