Catholic Healthcare (CHL) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced aged care nursing agencies in order to gather information from agencies that are interested in providing staff to support our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality care across our 41 Residential Aged Care facilities.

As part of our strategic workforce planning, we are looking to engage reputable agencies that can provide skilled and compassionate nursing professionals who align with our values and standards of care and are competitively priced. Agencies must demonstrate expertise in aged care recruitment, compliance with Australian employment regulations, and a proven track record in sourcing qualified candidates efficiently.

For reference* – CHL used agency staff for approximately 15,000 shifts in 2024, 59% being AIN, 40% RN and less than 1% EEN.

* These numbers are indicative only; they reflect our historical requirements and do not necessarily reflect our ongoing requirement. CHL will not be making any commitment on the volume of shifts that will be offered.

Below is an indicative breakdown of the spread of shift numbers with agencies across CHL locations in 2024.

· Coffs Harbour (15%)

· Batehaven (13%)

· Northern Sydney area (10%)

· Newcastle (10%)

· Brisbane & Ipswich (10%)

· Bathurst & Orange (10%)

· Mullumbimby (5%)

· Wagga Wagga and Tumut (5%)

· Grafton (4%)

· Remaining Sydney Metro homes (2%)

Agencies that can service multiple locations with immediately available locally-based staff are more likely to be considered for a selection shortlist. Agencies that can only support Sydney homes need not apply.

Interested agencies are invited to submit their proposals, outlining their experience, recruitment process, internal training process and capacity to meet our workforce needs. Agencies are also invited to submit competitive pricing in the format provided with this request. Agencies unable to match the format will not be shortlisted.
