Central NSW Joint Organisation on behalf of Lachlan Shire Council invites suitably qualified and eligible not-for-profit service providers and government organisations to submit responses for the provision of Shire-wide youth services on behalf of the Council.

Lachlan Shire Council is committed to ensuring our local youth are able to realise their potential through opportunities to:

• enhance their health and wellbeing
• participate in their community and celebrate their culture
• pursue their education and achieve employment
• participate in and influence decision-making that impacts upon their lives.

To this end, Council has recently developed a Shire-wide Youth Strategy (2021-2030) which identifies actions for Council and other service providers to deliver to support young people to realise their potential.

The Youth Strategy will serve as a key tool for the successful respondent, ensuring that service delivery aligns with the objectives and actions outlined in the strategy. This strategy will shape the Youth Service program to be delivered under the contract resulting from the Request for Tender (RFT).
