Tender Description
Council is now seeking to establish a panel of suitably qualified and resourced contractors to provide arboriculture services on an 'as and when required' basis throughout the municipality. These services will support the effective management and maintenance of Council-managed trees to ensure public safety, maintain amenity, and reduce risks to property and the environment. The types of services anticipated under this panel arrangement include, but are not limited to:
- Arboreal consulting, including tree health assessments and management advice
- Tree pruning for health and form, including crown maintenance and modification as per AS 4373-2007
- Palm pruning and coconuncluding stump grinding and site clean-up
- Ground restoration following arboriculture works
- Emergency response to storm-damaged or hazardous trees
- Waste collection and disposal resulting from arboriculture activities
Any other arboriculture services as directed by Council's authorised representatives
