Tender ID: 582040
Tender Details
Tender Description
In 2024 Southern Cross University (SCU) released the Southern Cross Learning Precinct (Gnibi Wandarahn) Master Plan. Connected, sustainable, and visionary: the Master Plan will transform the Lismore campus into a thriving education, research and community precinct.
A key component of the Master Plan, the SCU Hub is a precinct consisting of nine buildings supporting faculty and professional activities.
Within SCU Hub will be our Lab Precinct occupying up to five of these buildings (S, T,O, N and potentially L), supporting:
- Faculty of Science and Engineering teaching and research
- Southern Cross Analytical Research Services (SCARS): Two NATA and TGA-accredited commercial laboratories (EAL and ARL)
- Research Impact Clusters
- Other teaching and research as identified in the project (e.g., Faculty of Health)
- Potential external laboratory partners (i.e., industry partners operating laboratories from SCU)
The precinct design will be a holistic design that considers the external spaces such as entryways, facades, footpaths, connectivity, access and signage.
The purpose of this EOI is to:
- Invite proposals from capable and experienced Proponents to enable SCU to gauge the level of preliminary interest.
- Based on the level of interest, allow SCU to develop a shortlist of Proponents who will be invited to participate in a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
