Busselton Water is seeking a contractor for the construction of upgrades to its administration building.

SCOPE OF WORKS 

Busselton Water is currently facing space restrictions in the main office, which has created challenges for a growing workforce. Two stages have been proposed for modifications in the Administration Building.

Stage one involves upgrading the ground floor by renovating a meeting room and merging two offices into one open plan office space.

Stage two includes improvements to Level 1, such as converting offices into open-plan layouts and installing quiet rooms or hot desk areas.

Stage two layout is being finalised, and a provision sum is requested at this time only.

Drawings of each of the stages are provided, with the proposed start time of the stage one works to be June 2025, with stage two beginning in July/august 2025.

The scope of work consists of the following:

• Supply and transportation of materials, consumables and equipment
• Isolating of construction area inside office space
• The deconstruction of and removal of existing walls
• The construction/installation of new walls, windows, flooring and finishes
• Preserving and maintaining of existing columns, ceilings and all existing walls where necessary.
