The Shire of Capel is seeking the services of a suitably qualified consulting team (the Contractor) to produce two Foreshore Management Plans, these being for:

1. Peppermint Grove Beach (MU1), and;

2. Dalyellup Beach (MU3).

This will guide future planning and maintenance requirements for Peppermint Grove Beach and Dalyellup Beach. These reports are to build on the findings of the Coastal Hazard Management and Adaptation Plan (CHRMAP).

The FMPs will integrate Environmental and Landscape Management, along with Coastal Adaptation Strategies, to guide future investments in land uses, facilities, structures, and land management practices. Allowing appropriate management within the area to foster sustainable recreational and tourism use whilst recognising and incorporating environmental and cultural values. It could also be used for funding applications for detailed design and implementation projects.

The scope of works will include, but are not limited to:

- Development of FMPs consistent with the CHRMAP

- Seek to understand coastal and environmental challenges, hazards, and risks

- Regulatory and policy compliance

- Stakeholder consultation

- Environmental assessments

- Coastal and hydrological analysis

- Management Strategies and Recommendations
