On site shredding or grinding of garden waste. Loading and transport of material to downstream receiving/processing facility(s). Transport of pre-shredded garden waste from Queanbeyan WAMI to processing facility(s). Transport of un-shredded FOGO from Queanbeyan WAMI to Shellharbour FOGO processing facility.

Under the proposed contract, the Contractor will nominate processing facility(s) for disposal and further processing of garden waste. Council has a FOGO processing contract in place until October 31st, 2029, and the Contractor shall be responsible for managing the handling and removal of FOGO from Council's site at Queanbeyan to the Shellharbour FOGO facility.

Council's objectives for the contract include efficient operation of its waste facilities, and beneficial reuse of garden waste by composting or other means to ensure sustainability outcomes are achieved.
