Tamworth Regional Council invites suitably qualified and experienced companies to lodge a submission for tender T094 2025 to enter a two-year grounds maintenance contract for Council water and waste sites.

The contract will involve the maintenance of the grounds at various water, wastewater, and waste sites across the Local Government Area, including water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs, landfill sites, and access tracks.

The work is comprised of regular mowing of grassed areas, tidying of gardens, trimming of ornamental hedges and trees, and weed control when required.

The Contractor shall provide all labour, plant, and equipment necessary to complete the Works.

A mandatory pre-tender site inspection and briefing meeting shall be held for this contract. The pre-tender meeting shall be held at two Locations:

1. Westdale Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 300 Wallamore Road, Westdale and

2. Forest Road Landfill located at 123A Forest Rd, North Tamworth.

The meeting time will be 9:00am Wednesday 9th April 2025 at Westdale Wastewater Treatment Plant and we will then follow on to Forest Road Landfill. If the specified meeting cannot be attended, an alternative date may be negotiated.

Tenders will be assessed on the criteria outlined in the tender documents. The advertisement of this Request for Tender does not constitute an offer by Council to enter into any Contract with any of the Tenderers. Council is not bound to accept the lowest Tender or any Tender submitted, and the canvassing of any Councillor will automatically disqualify the Tenderer.

Tenders will be received in accordance with the Conditions of Tender until the closing time and date: 11:00 am Wednesday 30 April 2025.
