Tender Description
The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking to expand its Social Supermarket Program to deliver Social Supermarkets or enhanced food relief models into areas of higher need in South Australia.
DHS is seeking to identify service providers that have the capacity to build partnerships and offer co-contribution towards enhanced food relief models (including Social Supermarkets) that will offer two core elements:
- provide participants with access to free or low-cost food; as well as
- offer participants access to social connections and to early intervention supports that participants need either directly or through referrals.
DHS views this Request for Information as an opportunity for Participants, including suppliers and parties within the food relief and the community and social services sector, to contribute information based on their knowledge and experience.
