The project involves undertaking a Flood Risk Management Study and Plan (FRMS&P) for the townships of Corowa, Howlong and Mulwala. It is the follow on project after the completion of the Corowa, Howlong and Mulwala Flood Study in 2024.

The FRMS&P project will assess flood management options for the three townships, taking into account both riverine (Murray River) flooding and major overland flow (local runoff) flooding conditions impacting on the townships.

A non mandatory project briefing will be held during the tender period on Tuesday 8 April 2025 at 11.00am. Those wanting to attend this briefing on-line should email Council’s project manager trevor.clark@federationcouncil.nsw.gov.au) prior to the day of the briefing and will then receive an emailed invitation to the briefing session. If attending in person, the briefing will be held at Council’s Corowa offices at 100 Edward Street, Corowa.
