Organic Waste Processing Feasibility Study - Whitianga

⁠⁠⁠This RFP is issued by the Thames Coromandel District Council referred to below as “the Buyer” “Council” or “we” or “us”. The Buyer recently received approval for funding to complete a feasibility study for local organic waste processing facilities from the Waste Minimisation Fund – Te Pūtea Whakamauru Para.

The Buyer wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant who will complete the feasibility study on behalf of Thames Coromandel District Council. The initial engagement will be for stage one only, which is a high-level feasibility study and stage two will occur only if council decides to proceed to that stage.

The high-level feasibility study for local organic waste processing facilities will need to consider locating the organic waste processing facility at the new Whitianga waste transfer station in Mercury Bay and/or other locations within and outside the district.
