The Department seeks to obtain a more detailed understanding of the market and range of mobile repair services that may be available for QAS Vehicles outside of business hours and outside of routine servicing.

The QAS requires a mobile vehicle repair agent for the supply of minor repairs and maintenance to ambulance vehicles within the Gold Coast (GC), Darling Downs (DD), Metro North (MN), Metro South (MS), Sunshine Coast & Wide Bay (SC & WB) Regions, through a panel arrangement.

The QAS is seeking suitably qualified Mobile Vehicle Repair Agent (MVRA) to facilitate and/ or conduct vehicle repairs and maintenance via a mobile service.

Ambulances are modified vehicles. The onsite repair and maintenance of specialised items including, but not limited to, internal cabinetries, lights (internal and external), cameras, and charging units, may be outside the scope of works undertaken by mechanical service providers.

Completing minor repairs and maintenance at the location of the vehicle, as opposed to moving the vehicle to/from a repair agent’s premises, will simplify logistical processes and reduce turn-around time.
