Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN) is undertaking a review and evaluation of their Alcohol and Other Drugs program.

This Request for Proposal is to seek a consultant to undertake an evaluation of the Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN) Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Program and review of the AOD chapter of the CESPHN Health Needs Assessment.

CESPHN commissions a number of AOD services within the PHN region delivering various models of care. These include outreach, face to face and telehealth AOD counselling, group work, case management and care coordination activities.

The evaluation will be an opportunity to evaluate the reach and effectiveness of the AOD Program in the PHN region, identify what is working well and where there are opportunities for improvement to better meet the needs of the population.

The CESPHN Health Needs Assessment identifies key population health and related social needs, service gaps, and opportunities for better health and wellbeing in our region. It helps to guide an understanding of how to improve health and wellbeing outcomes and improve and transform care. This work will also be an opportunity to comprehensively review the AOD chapter of the Needs Assessment, in particular Identifying gaps in current service delivery and opportunities to better meet the current and emerging needs of the population.
