Tender ID: 581310
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Department of Communities and Justice is seeking to procure 6 new services to deliver the IDFVS program. This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) for ACCOs for 3 of the 6 new locations.
Project goals
The Department of Communities and Justice is seeking to procure 6 new services to expand delivery of the Integrated Domestic and Family Violence Services (IDFVS).
IDFVS is an integrated and coordinated case management response to domestic and family violence for families in high-risk groups and communities. This includes providing support for victim survivors who may still be living in a violent relationship. Core to the response is an integrated case management approach, which can involve working with a victim-survivor, children as clients in their own right and the person using violence.
Service providers must be non-government, not-for-profit and incorporated entities operating in NSW.
DCJ is committed to engaging with Aboriginal Controlled Community Organisations (ACCOs) in areas where there is a high need and Aboriginal population. As a result, three of the 6 new services will be led by ACCOs through this EOI process while the remaining 3 will concurrently be going through an open tender process. This EOI for ACCOs in 3 of the 6 new service locations are:
· Northern NSW – covering Richmond Valley, Lismore, Kyogle LGAs
· Western NSW – Warrumbungle LGA
· Far West – Broken Hill and Central Darling LGAs
The successful service providers will be contracted to deliver the services for 4 years from 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2029, with an option to extend for 2 years.
Scope
IDFVS is a whole of family program delivering specialist case management responses to domestic and family violence for families in high-risk groups and communities.
The IDFVS Program Specifications further outline the specialist DFV case management, case coordination and support activities expected to be delivered under the program.
