Tender Description
The Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) is seeking to appoint an experienced and licensed single contractor to provide disposal and recovery of waste services from the Island. This will include:
(a) the leasing of Disposal Bins for the management of general waste, co-mingled recycling, bio waste, hazardous waste and other waste;
(b) the collection of Disposal Bins transported to the Perth mainland by the island barge operator, and delivery of empty Disposal Bins for transportation to the island;
(c) transportation of Disposal Bins to agreed licenced facilities for recovery, and where items cannot be recovered, for disposal.
