The Service Provider will undertake planning in collaboration with Sydney Metro and ERS to ensure a seed supply is available for use in Corridor Restoration Works. Although primary responsibility for the specification of seed and species for use on the Project remains with Sydney Metro and ERS through the Corridor Restoration Plan, the Service Provider will provide advice relating to the commercial supply of native seed to inform available quantity, quality and suitability of species procured for use in Corridor Restoration Works.

Planning of seed procurement is to begin as soon as the Contract is awarded to ensure sufficient and timely supply is secured, with adequate time to provide an appropriate signal to suppliers in the seed market. The procurement of seed is to be managed in accordance with the seed supply schedule documented in the Corridor Restoration Plan, as well as the CRW program. It is expected that there will be limited seeding activity completed by CRW between 2025 and 2027, with the majority of seeding to occur after 2027.
