Overview

Project goals

The NSW Electoral Commission (NSWEC) is an independent statutory authority under the Electoral Act 2017 and the Electoral Funding Act 2018. The NSWEC conducts State elections, Local Government elections, NSW Aboriginal Land Council elections and certain statutory elections.

The NSWEC is seeking to select a Supplier to provide warehousing and fulfilment services for the State Government 2027 elections with the option, if exercised, to supply services for the 2028 Local Government elections, State and/or Local Government By-elections and business as usual activities that fall within the contract period

Scope

The NSWEC is seeking to select a Supplier to provide warehousing and fulfilment services for the State Government 2027 elections with the option, if exercised, to supply services for the 2028 Local Government elections, State and/or Local Government By-elections and business as usual activities that fall within the contract period

Respondents to this RFT are requested to satisfy the following requirements:

(a) Receipt of stock, including quality control (QC) processes and KPIs.

(a) Regular cycle counts.

(b) Warehouse Management System being used, describing how this system will benefit NSWEC.

(c) Storage of stock and materials.

(d) Secure archiving and disposal of election ballot papers.

(e) Pick, pack and dispatch of orders.

(f) Electoral kit assembly and techniques.

(g) Site Access and hours of operation.

(h) Consolidation of existing stock to reduce overall storage costs.

(i) Preparation of consignments for collection by the NSWEC’s contracted courier.

(j) Courier Support (as required)

(k) Treatment of returns after election events.

(l) Integrated invoicing system.

(m) Reporting on agreed parameters.
