Tender Description
Wollongong City Council wishes to engage a contractor for the repairs and remediation works of the Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort Bridge.
The works include but are not limited to:
- removal and replacement of steel cross bracings,
- welding of new cheek plates to the existing girders,
- application of protective coating to all exposed surfaces of the steel members, structural repairs to bearing plates, anchor bolts and concrete,
- application of protective system over all exposed concrete areas of the abutment and bottom face of the deck,
- removal and replacement of the bridge deck barriers,
- remediation of the bridge armoured butt joints,
- rehabilitation of the embankment.
