Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Works (Sustaining Capital)

⁠⁠⁠Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified contractors for the provision of Fixed Plant Electrical, Instrumentation and Control (EIC) construction/design works at brownfield sites, across the Pilbara mines and ports operations.

This EOI intends to understand the capacity and capability of the Fixed Plant EIC market players, to support RTIO’s ongoing projects at brownfield sites, with a particular focus on the design, fabrication, supply, installation, construction and/or commissioning of fixed plant infrastructure.

Geographically RTIO mine sites and ports are located across diverse regions:

• East Pilbara

• West Pilbara

• Coastal Operations

The EOI seeks to understand the capability of contractors who can perform the below works:

• Electrical Upgrade

• Instrumentation and Control

• Lighting Upgrades

• Low Voltage Works

• High Voltage works

• Switchrooms & Distribution Boards

• Powerlines

• Solar Supply and Install

• Large-scale Battery Systems

• Engineering Design

• Project/Construction Management

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, suppliers will be notified of any changes prior to award.

Your EOI response may be referenced or re-used in the next six months if a similar scope of work is required by Rio Tinto.
