The Soil Conservation service is looking to engage a single supplier to supply pre-cast concrete bridge components as per the design provided Westlake Punnett & Associates - Document.

Project goals

The project is located in Booderee National Park, located approx. 5km south of Jervis Bay Village ACT 2540. The Soil Conservation Service will undertake 6km of road rehabilitation and upgrade of causeway, replacing the causeway with a bridge.

This procurement will focus on the supply and delivery of prefabricated bridge components. The supply and delivery of bridge components will commence as soon as practicable from March 2025 with delivery prior to May 1st 2025.

The project has already engaged a separate supplier (Westlake Punnett & Associates) to design the bridge, prefabricated components must meet design 2024.01.10 W24530-C-IFC or an alternate design equal to AS5100 for SM1600 loads. All elements of the bridge are to be pre-cast. After supply and delivery, the Soil Conversation Service project team will assemble and construct the bridge.
