Provision of 2D & 3D Design Services for Press Gallery Exhibition

⁠⁠⁠The Museum of Australian Democracy (MoAD) requires exhibition design services, including 2D and 3D design to provide the experiential interpretation of the curatorial concepts and content, sufficient for the creation and construction of a new long-term exhibition, the House of Representatives Press Gallery Exhibition at Old Parliament House (OPH), Canberra. In particular, the interpretative design of storyline, themes, key messages, objects, mood and tone as described in the ‘Curatorial Brief’.

Designers will be responsible for working collaboratively with the MoAD Curatorial, Exhibitions, Heritage and Digital teams and external creative consultants to develop concept designs through to fully documented 2D and 3D design and all accompanying schedules for construction, fabrication and production. Services will also include the oversight of exhibition fabrication and graphic production and supervision of installation to ensure a successfully completed project, in conjunction with specialist staff of MoAD.

Tenderers are invited to respond to either 2D or 3D design or both. The 2D and 3D design packages will be considered independently. In tendering both packages, tenderers may be offered one or both packages. Sub-contracting is permitted and should be noted in the response. A Value for Money assessment will be made against the evaluation criteria.
