Ross Billabong Eastern Block Bank Design - Design Consultant

⁠⁠⁠Project goals

Toorale contains various water infrastructure, including dams across the Warrego River, and its tributaries. An agreement between the NSW and Commonwealth governments requires the modification of this existing infrastructure to increase the discharge capacity from the Warrego to the Darling River. It is proposed to remove two remaining eastern embankments in Ross Billabong down to the pre-existing bed level. DCCEW are seeking to have the design work completed to support an application for funding to the Commonwealth for the completion of the works on site.

The Ross Billabong Eastern Block Bank removal that is to be designed under this Agreement will be used to increase the discharge capacity from the Warrego River to the Darling River.

Scope

The Services under this Agreement include:

•Undertake a desktop review of background documentation to inform the detailed design development.

•Undertake a detail survey of the site to inform the detailed design of the bank removal
