Tender Description
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Delta aims to engage a qualified and experienced consultancy to identify and evaluate potential sites for the development of a gas turbine facility with a capacity of up to 667MW. The site will be developed into either an Open-Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT) or Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility.
ABOUT US
The Vales Point Power Station is located on the southern shore of Lake Macquarie, approximately 130 km north of Sydney, New South Wales, and approximately 3 km off the Pacific Highway North of Doyalson.
The Delta Group is part of the Sev.en Global Investments Pty Ltd (Sev.en GI) Group, a family office investment company based in the Czech Republic. Sev.en GI has a global presence with investments in power generation, mining, and mineral mining rights portfolios across key focus regions in North America, Australia, Europe, and Asia.
At Delta, we understand the importance of owning who we are. We generate electricity from coal, an essential service ensuring grid reliability as the network transitions to a greater proportion of variable renewable energy sources.
We are dedicated to managing our existing assets in an environmentally and socially conscious manner while identifying opportunities to expand our power station and mining operations.
We have a deep social responsibility to our employees and local communities. As we navigate the evolving energy landscape, we remain committed to the responsible management of our current assets while actively supporting the transition to a more sustainable energy future.
Our vision is to leverage our experience and expertise to grow a diverse energy portfolio that underpins the reliable supply of energy to Australia. Our purpose today is to produce energy safely, reliably, and responsibly. We do this by valuing and empowering our people while respecting the communities and the environment in which we operate.
