The Whitsunday Regional Council (the Licensor) is the owner for the building known as the Shute Harbour Marine Terminal, Lot 296, Whitsunday Drive, Shutehaven, Queensland. Centrally located near the major resort islands in the Whitsundays, Shute Harbour Marine Terminal is an important gateway due to its position within the Whitsunday region and proximity to Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday islands.

Shute Harbour Marine Terminal aims to provide residents of and visitors to the Whitsunday region with a world class marine port facility focused on the future. Key markets targeted by the Licensor for Shute Harbour Marine Terminal include residents and visitors utilising island resort connection services, marine tourism products as well as cruise ships visiting the Whitsunday region.

The Licensor requires a suitably experienced operator to provide information/tour sales to enhance services provided at the Shute Harbour Marine Terminal under a licence agreement.

The Licensor will provide the Licensed Area (Area) consisting of a floorspace approximately 3 - 5m2 (refer Appendix A) and it will be the responsibility of the licensee to fit out the area to suit their use.

The Licensor's commercial Licence Agreement will be used and will be offered for a 1 year period with a 1 + 1 year option to renew at Licensor's sole discretion. License fees can be addressed in the Response Form, Tender Schedule 11 - Rental and Commercial Return.
