Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for a project to deliver a project package of works in accordance with agreed method to support DETSI and its partners to better understand the opportunities and support needs to improve adoption of Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) measures and practices in the banana sector through:

Undertaking a situational analysis of ESC approaches and measures in the Wet Tropics Reef region through engagement with Banana industry and other stakeholders.
Report and brief on gaps and opportunities and other project outcomes to DETSI and project partners.
Identify gaps and opportunities and practical activities to support and enhance ESC (soil conservation) practices and capabilities in the industry (including professional support, extension staff and other industries such as engineering and construction industries).
