Tender Description
Albury City Council invites suitably qualified Tenderers to submit a Tender for the SPS 01 Cross Connection Upgrade for Council upon the conditions detailed in the RFT.
Scope of Works
The Works of this Contract comprise the supply of all labour, services, materials and plant necessary for:
- Site establishment and provision of all necessary safety and security processes, liaison with all relevant stakeholders, and meeting all statutory requirements;
- Compliance with all requirements of the Customer, WHS requirements and requirements set out by relevant authorities including AlburyCity and Safe Work NSW;
- Implement site management procedures, site security and access arrangements including OHS, Quality and Environmental controls, generally in accordance with the Construction Management Plan;
- Establish a Quality Management Plan including Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) and an appropriate record keeping system;
- Prepare a project report management plan incorporating the recommendations of the site Statement of Heritage Impact Report prepared by Biosis;
- Supply all materials and construction of pipework alterations in existing 600 dia and 750 dia sewer rising mains, including installation of valves, fittings and flow meters.
- Construction of reinforced concrete flow meter pits, complete with sumps, hand railing, access ladders and lids;
- Construction of 600 dia and 750 dia pipelines as detailed, including fabrication of fittings to suit;
- Connection to existing pipework as detailed;
- Supply and install two 600 dia. electromagnetic flowmeters (zero diameter type);
- Reinstate the existing surfaces at the completion of the works;
- Protection of the public and existing assets within the vicinity of the works including all Council assets;
- Preparation and implementation of a Traffic Management Plan including obtaining all approvals;
- Final cleanup and restoration of the site including removal of all excess construction materials, spoil, etc., at the completion of the works;
- Provide Operating and Maintenance Manuals, and As Constructed Drawings for the completed system to AlburyCity.
Site of Works
The site of the works is at the Albury Main Sewage Pump Station, corner of Wodonga Place and Smollett Street, Albury.
Pre- Tender Site meeting is scheduled for 12 February 2025
