The Whitsunday Regional Council (the Licensor) owns the building Queens Beach Hub previously known as the Bowen Surf Lifesavers Building (the Facility), located on the Queens Beach Foreshore, The Esplanade Queens Beach, Bowen.

The Facility was previously operated under a local law licence to the Bowen Surf Lifesavers for a number of years however was handed back from the Bowen Surf Lifesavers upon ceasing operations in Bowen. The opportunity now exists for up to three (3) Licensees to take advantage of the Facility.

Public amenities are also attached to the Facility and are cleaned and managed by the Licensor's Property & Facilities branch.

The Licensor has recently undertaken refurbishment of the Facility including internal and external painting, electrical work and installation of new roller doors.

Tenders are invited to provide an offer based upon the following option/s:

a) Kiosk;

b) Non-motorised water sports office and storage.

Noting that the abovementioned option/s are not limited to what has been specified and Tenderers are invited to make a submission based on what they would like to offer in line with the Specification.

The Licensor reserves the right to award in whole or part whichever best meets the objectives of the Licensor.
