The Principal wishes to avail itself of expertise to undertake a Gwabegar flood study.

Narrabri Shire Council has identified in its Community Strategic Plan (2.2.1) that the completion of a Flood Study and subsequent Flood Risk Management Plan will benefit community emergency service providers to adequately prepare and respond to natural disasters and emergencies in the Gwabegar area.

The focus will be around the following Phases but not limited to -

1. Phase A: Review existing information, Data Collection, Review, and Community Consultation.

2. Phase B: Undertake hydrological and hydraulic studies to provide model simulation and establish flood patterns

3. Phase C: Flood Damages model and assessment

4. Phase D: Management Options assessment

5. Phase E: Post processing of results, information to support decisions on activities in the floodplain and managing risk.

This is a Bid Statement Contract with method of payment being by Milestone completion and approval. The General Conditions of Contract are AS4122 -2010
