Fire and Emergency New Zealand established an open panel of aviation Service Providers that may be engaged for the provision of wildfire suppression, line rescue support, road crash rescue support, air transport operations, training and other emergency response activities (the Aviation Services Panel). The Aviation Services Panel is a vital part of the organisation’s emergency response capability.
The current contract is due to expire 31 August 2025. There is a continued need for aviation services, and it is believed the need will grow as we continue to see the effects of climate change.
This Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) is an invitation to submit a Standing Offer for the Aviation Services contract opportunity to deliver services on a call when needed basis.
Standing Offers must be submitted by ARENA, our national online system for supporting the use of aircraft for fire and emergency response.
