Far North Queensland Ports Corporation Limited, trading as Ports North (PN) is a government-owned Corporation established under the Government Owned Corporations Act 1993 (Qld) that develops and manages port facilities. PN operates the Ports of Cairns, Cape Flattery, Karumba, Mourilyan, Skardon River, Quintell Beach, Thursday Island, Burketown and Cooktown.
Ports North is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors to undertake Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection Systems maintenance works in the Port of Cairns, broadly comprising the replacement of sacrificial anodes, repair and reinstatement of CP bond cables and related field testing and reporting.
