Calling all professional services suppliers—an opportunity to work with ACT Government is right around the corner
Starting next year, Procurement ACT will commence a staged approach to market to establish the new Professional Advisory Services arrangement with categories being progressively released to market throughout 2025 and 2026. This new arrangement will replace the existing Professional and Consulting Services Panel.
The new arrangement will give us the opportunity to improve our current service offerings and ensure that they continue to meet the evolving needs of our stakeholders. We are exploring opportunities to enhance the new arrangement to make it more accessible for small and medium enterprises and local and diverse businesses throughout its term. This change aligns with our commitment to the Territory’s Charter of Procurement Values.
What’s happening with the current panel?
The Territory has extended the current panel until 30 November 2026. This will ensure continuity while we establish the new arrangement.
During this extension period, we will gradually wind down the current panel as equivalent categories are established in the new arrangement. This means the current panel will naturally cease once the last category has transitioned to the new arrangement.
I am not currently on the panel—will I still have the opportunity to work with ACT Government?
Yes, new suppliers can tender when we approach the market throughout 2025 and 2026 for the new arrangement. Additionally, Territory buyers can still approach the open market whenever necessary for their individual requirements.
