Weddin Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitable companies for the completion of concrete works in the redevelopment of Taylor Park, Grenfell. Works required are concrete paths, pads, edging etc per the Tender Documentation and Specification.

The work is to commence in February 2025.

Weddin Shire is a local government area in the Central West region of New South Wales, Australia. The shire's major town is Grenfell. Taylor Park is in the centre of Grenfell, adjacent the Council offices and bordered by Weddin, Middle and Church Streets. There is an existing toilet building in the northern part of the park and an existing historic band stand in the middle of the park. It is considered that the eastern side of the Park should remain as a ceremonial, formal park, with improved accessibility, while the western side of the park is being developed to this accessible play space.

The redevelopment of Taylor Park is to make it more versatile and inclusive for Shire residents, incorporating the first inclusive playground for Weddin Shire. Taylor Park will become a key outdoor community hub and form part of a national network of inclusive playspaces.
