Alice Springs Region - Santa Teresa Road - Upgrade and Seal 20.30 - 62.8KM - Mandatory Industry Briefing

⁠⁠⁠The project involves upgrading and sealing a 42.5-kilometre section of the existing unsealed road, from 20.30 km to 62.8 km, on the Santa Teresa Road. The works will deliver a two-lane sealed standard road. The upgrade includes constructing an 8.0 m sealed rural arterial road on a 9.0 m carriageway within the extents of the current road alignment. This includes all associated civil works, traffic management planning and implementation, construction water supply establishment, and manufacture of pavement materials.

The contract will be delivered in two stages:

1. Stage 1 between Ch. 20.3 - 40.0 km

2. Stage 2 between Ch. 40.0 - 62.8 km. Note that the section from Ch. 56.5 to 62.8 km is contingent on the CLC awarding a Sacred Site Clearance Certificate to approve the works.

Price range estimated at $10M to $30M.
