Gormack St Wastewater Pump Station Renewal

⁠⁠⁠Clutha District Council (CDC) would like to undertake works at Gormack St Wastewater Pump Station (WWPS), located at 65 Gromack St - Balclutha, to improve site resilience, as outlined in drawings 12649523-GHD-00-00-MP-00001 & 2 and the Schedule of Quantities. Generally, the following work is required:

• Demolition of the existing pump station superstructure
• Installation of new wet well covers (provided by the Principal) and cover frame
• Installation of new electrical kiosk (provided by the Principal) out of the flood plain
• Pipework modifications
• Installation of new overflow chamber cover
• Provision of protective wall (Provisional item)

The Principal expects the solution to provide best value for money and utilisation of local resources where possible, while keeping disruption to the existing network and surrounding area to a minimum.
