This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Stakeholder consultation and gap analysis of the current Electronic Prescribing Solution Architecture identified approximately 200 gaps, which were subsequently categorised into 10 themes. The next and final phase of the Solution Architecture uplift requires a suitably qualified Solution Architect’s professional services to evaluate stakeholder feedback and to ensure the final draft of the revised Solution Architecture:
- aligns with the National Digital Health Strategy 2023-2028 strategic priorities
- aligns with the Agency business objectives and strategic priorities
- enforce technology standards and best practices
- includes validated detailed technical designs and system designs, that identify solution components, interfaces and integration points
- incorporates security measures and data protection considerations
The Supplier provider will demonstrate a strong background and possess exceptional knowledge of the Australian healthcare sector. The service provider should be highly familiar with the National Health Act 1953 (cwlth), (Commonwealth (Pharmaceutical Benefits) legislative framework) and indicative State and Territory laws for governing Electronic Prescribing, to ensure the new Solution Architecture and Conformance Profiles are lawful, safe and appropriate.
The Service Provider will facilitate final review of the revised draft Electronic Prescribing Solution Architecture including stakeholder consultation, review and advice on the consultation material and any associated collateral.
The Service Provider will be required:
- facilitate consultations workshops
- proactively contribute to the National Electronic Prescribing Technical Working Group sessions
- provide exceptional expert guidance to support the development of the new Electronic Prescribing Conformance Profiles
- contribute to consultation approaches to ensure target timelines for consultation activities are met under the governance structure and framework established by the Agency.
- Coordinate and contribute to the final review cycle of the draft Electronic Prescribing Solution Architecture.
- Prepare the final draft of the Electronic Prescribing Solution Architecture for approval by the authorised delegate/s.
Additionally, the Service Provider will provide leadership and expert advice to assist the Customer with the release of the Modernised Electronic Prescribing Conformance Profiles.
The Service Provider must ensure that any goods and services proposed comply with all applicable Australian standards (or in its absence an international standard) including any requirements or standards specified in this Statement of Requirement.
Potential Suppliers should note that they may be required to enable the Customer, or an independent assessor, to conduct periodic audits to confirm compliance with all applicable Australian or international standards.
