The Queensland Government, acting through the Department of Housing and Public Works (HPW), is preparing to release an Invitation to Offer (ITO) seeking jointly coordinated offers for the Southport Supportive Accommodation Project (SSAP). SSAP is a proposed over 20 storey, high-density mixed-use tower at 5-9 Scarborough Street, Southport. The proposed development will comprise approximately 200 accommodation units, communal indoor and outdoor areas, commercial floor space for the provision of ‘wrap around’ support services and staff offices.

HPW is seeking jointly coordinated offers from:

• Registered Community Housing Providers (RCHP) for the provision property and tenancy management services, and
• Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) under the Homelessness Program for provision of Supported Housing and brokerage.

ITO Tender Submission

The anticipated release date is early December 2024 however this is subject to change. It is anticipated the tender will be open for a period of up to 8 weeks.
