Advanced Waste Processing

⁠⁠⁠City of Darwin is considering alternative waste processing technologies, including waste to energy and pyrolysis, to overcome local challenges in resource recovery rates and to significantly divert waste going to the landfill. The preference is for waste processing technologies to be located at Shoal Bay within the Circular Economy precinct. However, other options will also be considered.
