The Fisheries Patrol Vessel Flinders (Flinders) is a 19-meter aluminium offshore vessel. The Flinders conducts at sea compliance and enforcement activities across Far North Queensland waters between Innisfail and Cape York peninsula. The vessel was purpose built for Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol by BSC Marine Design Pty Ltd boat builders in 2002 and has served QBFP for the past twenty-two years. The Flinders Half-life refit will extend the vessels useful life for a further 15 years.
The refit is expected to be delivered between April and August 2025.
