The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to remove the existing timber trestle bridge (#4757), prepare the site and then construct a new 36mtr concrete bridge over the Weld River, North Walpole.  The project will be staged over two years, as outlined below:

• Stage 1 - Removal of existing bridge and site preparation (anticipated timeframe 2024/25 financial year)
• Stage 2 - Construction of the new bridge (anticipated timeframe - during the dry season (Nov - Apr) of 2025/26
