Port Macquarie Hastings Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced design Consultant to complete both concept and detailed designs for the Wauchope depot facility at Commerce Street, Wauchope, NSW.

The existing depot has maintenance crews for roads, bridges, stormwater and park, incorporating a number of workshop and storage facilities. The depot is aged and in a poor state of repair with multiple areas failing and no longer meeting current building code and industry standards.

The facility will need a complete structural and operational refurbishment with careful programming to ensure that it remains operational during the construction phase. Staffing levels currently around 65 employees.

The appointed consultant is to assess and review one internal PMHC generated design and provide two new concept proposals, from which a final concept can be selected to progress to detailed design. The Consultant is to allow for all associated studies, investigations, reports and design development to enable DA and construction certification approvals ready for construction.

A site inspection prior to the closure of the quotation will be held on Tuesday 5th November 2024 at 10.30am AEDT at the Wauchope depot facility at Commerce Street, Wauchope, NSW. The site briefing is not mandatory.
