Disposal of Freshwater Class Ferry - MV Collaroy

Project goals

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is calling for expressions of interest to receive proposals from all interested parties including maritime stakeholders that identify viable options for the future use of MV Collaroy beyond the Sydney Ferries network.

Scope

TfNSW are hoping that responses to this RFEOI will provide:

• Safe and environmentally sustainable options for thefuture use of the MV Collaroy
• Options that provide benefit to the government andpublic in NSW
• Options that preserve the historic significance ofthe Freshwater Class
• Evidence of a genuine need for a vessel of this size
• Insight into alternative viable options outside itstraditional use as a Large Passenger Ferry
