Rio Tinto are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers capable of the provision of Engineering and Drafting services at our Boyne Smelter and Yarwun Refinery.

The scope shall include, but not be limited to, discipline engineering and drafting design of the following;

(i) mechanical / piping;

(ii) civil / structural;

(iii) electrical;

(iv) instrumentation / control; and

(v) automation;

Specialist technical expertise shall include the following areas:

(i) bayer process plant equipment;

(ii) pressure relief systems;

(iii) pressure vessels;

(iv) large tanks (e.g., precipitators, washers/decanters);

(v) high temperature/pressure steam systems;

(vi) safety instrumented systems;

(vii) tailings disposal and storage;

(viii) smelting;

(ix) casting;

(x) power systems, including but not limited to high voltage and power supply;

(xi) electrical, automation and instrumentation;

(xii) utilities and infrastructure; and

(xiii) materials handling;

Services include both on-site and off-site facets, dependent on individual scope of work requirements.
