Certification Register

This RFP relates to the purchase of a digital tool (SaaS based) to support creation of a Certification Register with pre-built workflow and configuration already established to support delivery of the NZ Government C&A process.

We want to buy the best solution option available in the market (capabilities and cost) via traceability to relevant functional and non-functional requirements.

We want to identify the digital tool to support creation of a Certification Register and then engage with the successful vendor to negotiate the necessary tool implementation support to be provided to Stats NZ for an initial year of operation, with a potential period of up to 5 years of operation (with support for off-ramps as required, in case subsequent financial year budgeting is not approved).

At this stage we have a heavily manual C&A process, and we wish to maximise automation via GRC tooling capabilities to support the security aspects of our enterprise transformation journey. We anticipate that when the tool is implemented successfully, Stats will derive significant long term operational and cost efficiencies.
