Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Tuckshop Refurbishment at Undurba SS, located at 49-57 Ogg Road, Murrumba Downs QLD 4503, as part of the Playground and Tuckshop Grant (PTG) program.

The refurbishment of the existing tuckshop includes demolition of all internal fixed furniture, internal walls, windows and doors. The new works include new servery windows, fixed joinery, appliances, internal walls, finished floor, exhaust and services. A separate uniform shop is to be constructed with 2 x changerooms and fixed joinery and existing bin storage to be demolish and constructed as new café seating. The position of the building is at the front of the school with good site access and working space. All works are to be completed by February 2025.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
