Tender Description
This Contract is for the Construction of new Water Supply mains along the east side of Rangiora Woodend Rd and the south side of School Rd in the township of Woodend.
The main tasks involved in this Contract are:
- Supply and construct 925m of PE100 water mains with size varying from 180mm OD to 355mm OD
- Installation of fire hydrants, valves and bends.
- Reinstate surface to existing
- Connect into existing network at both ends
- Traffic Management
- Working near live power, communications, stormwater and wastewater services.
- Design and implementation of Temporary Works.
- Design and establishment of all necessary dewatering, and sediment and erosion control measures.
- Providing as-built drawings and any inputs required under the contract.
- Liaison with key stakeholders including local landowners / occupiers / businesses, and WDC.
- Test, remedy and commission the works under the contract.
- Carry out other associated works deemed necessary for completion of this contract.
It is noted that stormwater works to the east of these works on School Rd may be occurring from November to February. The winning tenderer shall work with the contractor for these works during construction to ensure efficient traffic management in School Rd.
