Tender Description
Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) requires a suitably experienced and qualified Contractor to carry out reseals and pavement rehab work on Councils’ Sealed Road Network throughout the Whitsunday Region.
The scope includes:
a) Single coat reseals;
b) Asphalt mill and fills;
c) Pavement rehab using bitumen treated base;
d) Temporary pavement marking; and
e) Permanent line marking
The Contract will consist of the following eight (8) Separable Portions:
a) Separable Portion 1 – Bowen Reseal & Rehab Works;
b) Separable Portion 2 - Proserpine Reseal and Rehab Works;
c) Separable Portion 3 – Airlie Beach Reseal and Rehab Works;
d) Separable Portion 4 – Renwick Road Reseal & Rehab Works;
e) Separable Portion 5 – Upriver Road Reseal & Rehab Works;
f) Separable Portion 6 – Conway BSF Safer Roads Project;
g) Separable Portion 7 – Whitsunday PCYC Mill & Fill; and
h) Separable Portion 8 – Dingo Beach Road Rehab & Reseal.
Council requests pricing as set out in Appendix A – Pricing Schedule.
This Scope of Works covers the provision of all works and materials associated with the services indicated within this Scope of Works including Appendices. The Tenderer is to familiarise themselves with the appropriate pricing schedule and road details listed in the Appendices.
