Delivery of the Get Back in the Game Program (GBIG).

GBIG is a case management service for young people between the ages of 15 and 21 years, who are not in education, employment or training, or at risk of so, and supporting them into education, training or employment.

The GBIG program comprises 2 components including 'BIG' (Back in the Game) and 'GIG' (Get in the Game).

'BIG' (Back in the Game) - 'in schools' component consisting of students referred from the Accepted Schools. 

'GIG' (Get in the Game) - relates to young people who are 'out of school' or meet the eligibility criteria to indicate disengagement.

It is intended that a contract be awarded to one service provider per region (17 regions in total). However, additional service providers may be awarded to ensure full coverage of service provision across all regions.

Scope

The GBIG program intends to deliver wrap-around case management service for young people who are not in education, employment or training, or at risk of so, with the ultimate goal of engaging them in education, employment or training. Activities and outcomes are reported via a dedicated CRM, while additional reporting is required via templates provided by the department.
