Health Services

GRC wishes to establish a Preferred Supplier Arrangement (PSA) and/or Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (RPQS) to engage qualified and registered health professionals and/or clinics to provide a range of health services. The key objectives is for the approximately 750 GRC employees to have access to high-quality, accessible, and comprehensive healthcare services.

The following health services are required:

1. General Practitioner appointments (RPQS)

GRC requires from time to time to engage Medical Practitioners to provide health assessments and/or specialised medical consultations to ensure the health and safety of GRC employees. Services will be required following a workplace injury where the individual requires medical treatment.

2. Physiotherapy (in clinic and on-site in Miriam Vale and Agnes Water) (RPQS)

GRC requires from time-to-time services including:

• Physiotherapy assessment and treatment;

• Ergonomic assessments; and

• Job dictionary assessment/development.

3. Pre-employment Screening and Health Monitoring (PSA), with secondary Service Providers under an RPQS. Secondary providers will be engaged when the primary provider is unavailable or at other times at GRC’s discretion.

GRC requires a suitably qualified and experienced Service Provider to provide pre-employment medicals and health monitoring for audiometry and hazardous substances in accordance with Chapter 8 (Asbestos) and Schedule 14 (Hazardous Chemicals) of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011.

4. Drug and Alcohol testing (in clinic and on-site if required) (PSA), with secondary Service Providers under an RPQS. Secondary providers will be engaged when the primary provider is unavailable or at other times at GRC’s discretion.

Selection for a PSA/RPQS gives no guarantee or representative as to the volume or value of orders to be issued by Council.
